Tending Tender Places: Mother’s Day Weekend Workshop

A gentle, grounding space for support and connection

Mother’s Day can be meaningful and connective for some, but for many, it brings up something else entirely.

Grief, distance, longing, complicated relationships, pressure to feel something you don’t...or simply a sense that the day doesn’t reflect your reality. This workshop is a space for that.

Tending Tender Places is a small, supportive gathering held the afternoon before Mother’s Day. It’s designed for those who could use a place to land, without needing to explain, perform, or make sense of everything out loud.

This is not a talk-heavy space. There is no expectation to share. Instead, the focus is on creating the conditions for your nervous system to settle, and for your own inner experience to unfold in a way that feels right for you.

In our time together, we will begin with a guided meditation with crystal singing bowls, allowing the body to soften and gently move what’s ready to shift. From there, you’ll be invited into a quiet, choice-based integration space where you can engage in your choice of art-making, journaling, or oracle cards, with optional prompts available if you’d like guidance. We’ll close with a grounding practice to help you reconnect with your inner steadiness and carry that sense of support with you into the weekend.

This space is for you if Mother’s Day brings up:

  • grief, loss, or longing

  • complicated or strained relationships

  • feeling unseen or unsupported

  • pressure, guilt, or obligation

  • pregnancy loss, infertility, or unmet desires for motherhood

  • challenges in your relationship with yourself as a mother

  • unresolved pain or mixed emotions

  • a desire to feel more grounded, steady, and connected to yourself

You don’t need to have the “right” words for what you’re feeling. You don’t need to be ready to process everything. You’re welcome exactly where you are.
