RETURN TO CENTRE

APRIL 30 & MAY 31

In our time together we will:

Begin with a crystal singing bowl meditation to rest and return back to centre. From there, we’ll have some time to process the experience with your choice of artmaking, journalling, discussion, oracle cards, and more. Participants will take home a resource to with journal questions and artmaking prompts to guide further exploration.

TENDING TENDER PLACES MAY 9

This space is for you if Mother’s Day brings up…

• grief, loss, or longing

• complicated or strained relationships with your mother

• feeling unseen or unsupported

• pressure, guilt, or obligation

• pregnancy loss, infertility, or unmet desires for motherhood

• challenges in your relationship with yourself as a mother

• unresolved pain or mixed emotions

• a desire to feel more grounded, steady, and connected to yourself

TEXTURE HUNT WORKSHOP MAY 13

• Come to the CVAF Kick-Off Picnic Monday May 18 1:30pm at Les Sherman Park

• Open to all ages- children must be accompanied by an adult

• All materials provided

• Open to all skill levels – no prior experience necessary

• Pieces made in the workshop will be on view at The Artesian during The Cathedral Village Arts Festival May 18-23

EMBODIED POTENTIAL MAY 17 & JUNE 14

In our 90 minutes together we will:

• Discuss the potential of the new moon energy

• Sink into a guided meditation using crystal singing bowls to align and balance the body and energy field

• Set intentions from a place of relaxation and clarity

• Reflect and create with your choice of art making, ritual, journaling, etc.

• Leave with a list of creative prompts and reflection questions to carry you through this moon cycle 

CRAFTERNOON May 23

The details:

• Drop-in Crafternoon 12–5 PM, come for as little or as long as you like

• This SPECIAL EDITION CRAFTERNOON is happening during the Cathedral Village Arts Festival Street Fair

• PWYW (pay what you want/by donation)

• Use the studio supplies or bring your own project; suggested project ideas available if you want inspiration

• Cozy, low-pressure making space. no stakes, just relaxing, creating, and community

• This is a quiet, restorative space for adults

INNER LIGHT miniSESSIONS JUNE 13

A Saturday afternoon mini session to slow down, tune inward, and connect to your inner light, leaving you feeling clear, illuminated, empowered & grounded.

Each 10-minute session begins with a gentle grounding meditation, followed by a personalized oracle card message. You’ll then create your own affirmation card to take home—choosing a premade card and writing words of encouragement or intention that feel right for you.

These sessions happen at Aware House Books. Drop in any time between 1:00-4:00.
